Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Aide: Study Bible (“Aide”), provided by Bisagroup LLC. By using Aide you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using Aide

Aide is for personal Bible study. You may not copy or resell Aide’s content in bulk, scrape it, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.

Purchase and subscription

Aide is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscription needed to read, study or use its Lens, classes, maps and library. Optional features, such as Ask, may be offered through an auto-renewing subscription. When you subscribe: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase; the subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it at any time in your account settings on the App Store or Google Play after purchase; and any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Ask and AI-prepared content

Answers in Ask, and some study content in Aide, are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence using Scripture, public-domain commentaries and our own notes. They can contain mistakes and reflect choices about how to read difficult passages. They are study aids, not a substitute for Scripture, your church, a pastor, or professional advice. Test everything against the Bible. If an answer looks wrong or inappropriate, use the report button on it and we will review it.

Content and licences

Bible texts, commentaries, dictionaries and books in the Library are public-domain or used under the licences stated in the app (for example, the Berean Standard Bible and data from STEPBible and OpenBible.info under their Creative Commons licences). Aide’s own notes, classes, design and software belong to Bisagroup LLC. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Your content

Notes and highlights you create are yours and are private to your account. You give us permission to store and display them to you. Questions you ask may be sent to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and liability

Aide is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app or at /account at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. These terms may change; we will post updates here.
